The study of Science in St. Louis begins with a balanced course at Key Stage 3 in preparation for the separate study of the three sciences at Key Stage 4 and A level. The Sciences generally have a very good uptake at AS and A 2 levels.
It is the aim of the department to excite students' curiosity and interest in the processes and natural laws which govern the world around them, providing both theoretical and practical opportunities to investigate these, whilst also inculcating within them the ability to critically analyse information presented to them.
