Child Development GCSE

A very useful subject especially for those students considering a career in health care, social and community work, childcare, teaching and for life.

Assessment:

Examination which is 60% of total GCSE mark.

Coursework which is 40% of total marks for GCSE.  One assignment is selected from a list of titles and completed over a 12 week period.  This is marked by your teacher and moderated by CCEA.

prevent accidents, clothing and footwear,
equipment for life and play, sources of
information and support for parents and
families.
