Welcome to St Louis Grammar School

St Louis grammar school, Kilkeel, is a co-educational school for pupils aged 11-18 with over 570 pupils on roll. The pupils come from the surrounding area : Kilkeel, Warrenpoint, Annalong, Newcastle, Castlewellan, Hilltown and Rostrevor.

New St Louis Kidz Mini-siteThe recently formed Post-Primary Transfer Consortium (PPTC) has agreed to use standardised Entrance Assessment in English and Mathematics, prepared by GL Assessment. The Entrance Assessment will be used by over 34 post-primary schools in November 2009, for admission into Year 8 in September 2010. Click here to find out more.

History of the school

In 1842 the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Louis was founded in France by Abbé Louis Bautain. The first St. Louis Sisters came to Ireland in 1859. Click here to find out more.
