Shame Academy is a spoof talent contest that was set up in 2004 by a group
of 6th year pupils to raise finance for the chest, heart and Stroke foundation.
The show was such a success that it was decided that it would be a great
idea to run it again. This time the money would be donated to local charities
such as the Southern Area Hospice and the St Louis Missions.

It was the brainwave of a number of upper 6th pupils along with some teachers.
This year's show was "the best show ever" and "a bag of laughs" - some
comments from the audience. There were a number of 'talented' and 'entertaining'
acts in this year's line-up from Britney Spears to Queen, all providing
a bag of laughs for the packed venues audience. As with last years show
there were four judges - all of whom had something to say about each act
- whether it be good or bad!
Total Raised
The current total for the event stands at an excellent
£988.21, and there are still a large number of sponsor cards to
be returned. The show was recorded both on video and audio, just to ensure
everyone gets ‘named’ and ‘shamed’. These ‘entertaining’
clips can be shown on the images link on the top of this page
