Options Week Begins 14th January 2019.

Pupils in year 10 and 12 will be given the opportunity to consider the GCSE and Post-16 / A Level options they will take next year.

There will be a range of events taking place in school. Mr Brown and Mrs Devlin will explain to pupils the options process and highlight the key dates for pupils. Mrs Devlin will also speak to pupils about the importance of making the right choices at GCSE and at Post-16, and will give advice as to the requirements for moving on from GCSEs and Post-16 qualifications to further education. Teachers will also be talking to pupils in class and giving presentations on their subjects.

The pupils will have access to an options booklet for GCSE and Post-16 / A Level. This year the booklets will be kept in electronic format and are available from within the School App, and on this website. It is important therefore that all pupils have downloaded the school app. The options booklets will be available from:

  • The school website – www.stlouis.org.uk under the options section
  • The 6th Form Website – wwww.stlouis6thform.com – for A Level options
  • Through the school mobile App on tablet and phone. For Apple devices click here. For Android devices click here.

Prospective pupils wishing to join St. Louis in 6th Form are invited to attend the options event on 28th January 2019 at 1:00pm.

If you have any enquiries about the options process, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Brown.
