Physical Education

Welcome To The
Physical Education Department

WHAT IS PHYSICAL EDUCATION?

The Physical Education Department is committed to providing an engaging, inclusive, and challenging learning experience that inspires all pupils to achieve their personal best. Through a blend of practical performance, theoretical understanding, and leadership development, we encourage students to lead active, healthy lifestyles and develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Our team delivers a broad and dynamic curriculum, including Practical PE, CCEA GCSE Physical Education, and BTEC Sport (Single and Double Award). Each course is designed to support pupils of all abilities—whether they are aspiring performers, enthusiastic participants, or students interested in pursuing sport-related careers.

We strive to create a positive atmosphere where students can build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and sport.
