There were scenes of joy and relief at St. Louis Grammar School as Year 13 and Year 14 students opened their envelopes to reveal a fantastic set of AS and A-Level results. The abundance of top grades achieved is a direct reflection of the incredible energy, drive, and meticulous preparation our pupils poured into their examinations, as well as a testament to the diligence of a dedicated and caring teaching staff.
At A2 level, an exceptional 91% of all grades were A–C*, and over one-third of grades were A–A*. This wonderful achievement serves as a brilliant testament to the shared dedication and hard work of the students and their teachers over the past two years.
St. Louis Principal, Mr. Kevin Martin, was delighted with the performance of the students, stating:
"It is always immensely gratifying to see the dedication of our students rewarded with such well-deserved exam success. In close collaboration with their dedicated teachers throughout their time at St. Louis, these young people have consistently sought to grow, challenging themselves and expanding their horizons across a broad spectrum of subjects. Today, they are rightly celebrating the fruits of their commitment. We wish our leavers every success in their next chapters, and for our Year 13 students returning to complete their A-Levels, we look forward to seeing them maintain the fantastic work rate and enthusiasm they demonstrated this past year."
Echoing the principal’s sentiment, Head of Year 14, Mrs. Stokes, added her heartfelt praise for the departing Class of 2026:
"I could not be prouder of this outstanding group of young people. Having guided them through their journey, I have seen firsthand their resilience, ambition, and determination to succeed. They have earned these magnificent results through sheer hard work, and I have no doubt they will go on to achieve great things in their future studies and careers."
While the school eagerly anticipates welcoming back the AS Class of 2026 this September, a fond farewell is extended to all those departing at the end of their A-Level journey. Whether moving on to top university courses, highly competitive apprenticeships, or the world of work, they leave with the full support and best wishes of the entire St. Louis community.
