Year 8 Welcome Service

Recently, we held a beautiful welcome service for our new Year 8 students.

It was wonderful to see so many students and their families attend. It was a landmark day for our new cohort and Mr Martin encouraged the children to “participate in the countless opportunities” that school life offers, both inside and outside the classroom.

Thanks to Fr Dillon for celebrating the service with us and to the various departments within the school who worked together to make this event a success.

To Mrs Grant and the Art Department, Miss Colgan and the Music department and Mrs Morris and the RE Department, we are hugely grateful for the hours that were spent preparing the pupils for this afternoon.

It was wonderful to see and hear so many people partaking and all our readers, singers, musicians and participants in processions deserve huge praise.

Every student behaved impeccably throughout, and we were privileged to have such a great turnout of families and friends present to share this special moment.

We look forward to watching the seeds bloom as our Year 8 students navigate their St Louis journey in the weeks, months and years to come.
